Overview

Since 2003, 60 sports franchises in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and AFL have partnered with Rock and Wrap It Up! to participate in Sports Wrap! Food that is prepared but not sold from home games concessions is recovered to feed the indigent.

Tactics

We meet with the VP/Director of Community Relations for the Sports Franchise. We then meet with the concessionaire/purveyor for the stadium and/or arena. We identify agencies that have large indigent populations, cold storage, weekend recover potential and commitment to work with us. We have 2-4 different agencies assigned to each stadium and or arena with whom we partner with to share the recovery logistics.  In some instances, tickets to the sporting event are made available by the sports teams.

NY Yankees PSA

The NY Yankees partner with charitable organization, Rock and Wrap It Up!, to redistribute prepared concession food to local hungry communities.
